"My volunteering experience with AIME was overall very positive, and in addition to helping out for the organization I've also learned a lot since I do not come from a medical or healthcare background. My first seminar was on osteoporosis, where I learned about causes and measures to combat osteoporosis. The audience was highly active and engaging in asking questions and sharing their own experience, and it was definitely informative and eye opening. If you care about your loved ones or just want to make a positive difference to your local community, I strongly encourage you to help out or attend a session."

"Volunteering at AIME gave me the opportunity to present health topics to an engaged audience and also helped connect me to like-minded peers. It helped me feel like part of the Chinese-speaking community in Toronto and is also a great chance to practice Chinese!"
